The life for the boys devlops a daily rouentie. The boys play in the mornings. When the afternoon comes some of the boys take a nap while others see odd images. Piggy sees these images as mirages. It becomes night & it gets scary out. The littlus are frightend by visions and bad dreams. They continue to think the "beastie" will come after them. With all the fruit they eat causes them to have stomach achs & diarrhea. Roger & Maurice stop on a sand castle that the little kids make. Roger then throws stones at one of the boys. Jack becomes obsessed with the idea of killing a pig. Ralph & Piggy see a ship and notice that the signal fire has gone out. They run to the top of the hill but its too late to start the fire again & the ship dosnt come for them. Ralph gets mad at Jack because it was the hunters job to watch the fire. Jack and the hunters return with a pig. Ralph then confronts Jack about the fire. Piggy complains about the hunters and Jack slaps him so hard that his glasses lense falls out. Jack taunts Piggy. Ralph and Jack get into it. Jack then admits his wrongs for not watching the fire but never apologizes to Piggy. All the boys cook the pig while the hunters dance around it. Raplh calls a meeting and walks toward the beach by himself.
I thought the events in the chapter were pretty good. I didnt like that Jack slapped Piggy and never apologized. You should say sorry for doing something like that. I was glad that the hunters caught a pig so they could all eat. I cant wait to see what Ralph will say the meeting.
